Young Scientists in Action
Generations Highland location fosters children's love of learning by providing opportunities to grow as scientists, explore friendships, and become more confident in their abilities to learn and achieve. The children enjoyed an experiment where they soaked food coloring into a paper towel, learning that it mimics the way plant roots absorb water. The students also enjoyed short walks to the library and parks, where they observed flowers, the sun, and trees, discussing how sunlight helps them grow. The students had an exciting summer filled with learning and hands-on experiments.
