Making Waves, Making Memories
Friendship has always been a great partner with summerLEAP. And this year; they have out done themselves! They have added a few additions to their outdoor play space that look fanatic! A great new grassy area and a large air condoned indoor gym. It's a joy to see them enjoy their new space. Their teaching teams have partnered with us to give their children a great summer learning experience. They have explored the wonders of music, science and sensory activities, and of course large motor play. The 4-year-old class has specifically enjoyed their time of swimming. Many have fallen in love with the water!
History
Since 1926, Friendship Children's Center has been serving the community as an early learning center. During the school year, Friendship hosts a toddler care program, EPK and UPK classrooms, and a school-age program for children up to twelve years of age. The summerLEAP program meshes well with Friendship's mission to "strengthen and supplement family life through age-appropriate education, emotional, social, and physical experiences." During summer 2025, Friendship Children's Center hosted one EPK and one UPK classroom.
