Curiosity and Growth

At the Baden Street Child Development Center, children spent the summer immersed in activities that encouraged exploration, creativity, and discovery. Each day, students engaged in hands-on learning experiences that introduced new vocabulary and concepts, helping them connect ideas to the world around them. From experimenting with new materials to exploring their environment, children had the opportunity to try new things and build confidence in their abilities. Baden Street is a place where curiosity and growth flourished all summer long.

History

Since its inception in 1901, the Baden Street Settlement has continually and dynamically provided a full range of services to the surrounding neighborhood and greater community. One of its many departments is the Alvin Wesley Child Development Center, which provides services for children ranging from six weeks to twelve years of age. During the summer of 2025, the center hosted two UPK and two EРК summerLEAP classrooms.
